PRASUN MAZUMDAR
I regulate chaos.I construct thought.I cultivate inner landscapes.
My work begins with the understanding that perception is limited. What we see, assume, or conclude is rarely the whole. Across painting, sculpture, installation, film, and writing, I explore that gap between what appears and what exists. Each medium becomes a way of testing an idea against material, space, and time.
I think, Artworks, installations, films, design, and writings are not separate categories, they are parallel investigations into perception, material, and meaning. I work across mediums because no single form is sufficient.

Painting was my first discipline, it taught me restraint and attention. Sculpture brought resistance and gravity into the conversation. Film introduced duration. Writing became a space where thought could unfold without image.
I do not move between mediums for variation, but because certain questions demand certain forms.
Material matters to me. So does structure. I am interested in how something holds, visually, conceptually, and physically.
